Aaron Tweedy - 12/22/2009 One night I went to help my mom put in some volunteer time over at this place where she gets her food. I didn't have time to grab a coat but I knew the Lord would keep me warm within the warehouse and, ironically, it turned out I was working in the freezer the entire time. The Lord did keep my body warm through my faith within that freezer; however, my hands were the only thing that were suffering from the cold, for I have always had problems with poor blood circulation in my hands. I felt intense pain within my hands and my fingers were freezing up, making my task exceedingly harder to perform. I knew that pain was an attribute of the curse so I kept in prayer with the Lord concerning this and continued to thank Him for healing my hands on the cross. Php.4:6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. There were a couple of times I had to leave the cold because my hands hurt way too much, but every time I would leave I felt as if my faith was wavering and I wasn't holding fast to my confession. The spirit of doubt was trying to come in to hinder my faith and then I began to deal with condemnation because I knew that it was demonic activity holding me back. I knew that I was acting in double-mindedness and knew that such did not please the Father. Jas.1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord; a double minded man unstable in all his ways. The Lord wanted my actions to be according to my confession, for faith without works is dead and the Lord could not manifest my healing without His works being involved. The Lord told me to bind and loose and to cast down any vain imaginations of the flesh, as Paul speaks about in 2 Corinthians 10, for Christ bestowed upon us authority over all the power of the enemy. When I got back into the freezer the third time, I was convinced that this time I must not leave the freezer for the purpose of warming my hands. This time, when I thanked the Lord in prayer, I felt my confession pouring from my heart, rather than just my lips. At one point, I completely ignored the pain and began to rest on what the Lord had accomplished on the cross and, behold, the Lord faithfully answered my prayer. The first thing I noticed was the pain leaving my hands all at once and a great comfort coming over my affliction (I knew that the pain had not left me through a numbing effect, due to the fact that I could feel everything I was touching), then I felt a supernatural warmth cover over my hands and I regained mobility in my fingertips, as well as overall strength. O, PRAISE THE LORD AND HIS SOVEREIGNTY. PRAISE THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH AND HIS LOVE!!! Even after I felt the healing manifest itself, my flesh was trying to scare me out of the healing by attempting to falsify that it was only a temporary healing, although I could not help but glorify God for His greatness. Eventually, Satan gave up on trying to steal my gift, for I continued to cast down more doubt that was exalting itself against the Lord and kept working. Jas.4:7 Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. I know that the Lord put me into an environment with an exaggerated variable of cold, where the cold was so strong against my flesh that I was in utter weakness, so Jesus could show His might. I also realize that in such a cold environment as a freezer that heat could not be in the air, but that only the Lord could have heated my hands. He did this because it would have been impossible for my flesh to prevail against my spirit in reasoning, for such heat arising in that controlled environment would have been impossible in itself. There have been many more trials with my poor blood circulation, but I know that the Lord has healed my hands (the Lord continues to conquer this old flesh) and He is our only resistance to Satan and the mind of the flesh. He is our only chance in salvation, for without His grace and love we are nothing. Well, thank you for taking the time to read my testimony and I hope that it has been beneficial in the revealing more of what the Lord's will covers with supernatural healing. Remember, 1Pe.2:24 ... by whose stripes ye were healed. Walk in faith, saints, and God bless all those whom are at UBM and the elect around the world. Alright, love you all and peace be unto you.
