Carol Harshman - 06/11/2010 This miracle happened about eight months ago. Louie and I decided to get a new front loader washing machine and dryer. The ones we had still worked fine, but we wanted a bigger and more efficient pair. We chose to purchase the brand that has the loneliest repair man in town -- yeah right! I waited until they were installed and began the maiden voyage of the first load, as the excitement mounted. A few hours later, I was still waiting for the load to level out so it could finish the spin cycle. I had taken clothes out and rearranged them many times, trying to get it to spin. Needless to say, I scheduled a service call and was quite upset over the situation. Now it's not an understatement to say that I'm used to getting a good result in situations like this. The repairman came and I'm here to tell you he looked nothing like the man in the commercials. He looked rather beat up (not a good sign). Anyway, he looked the washer over and said it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do. The problem, he said, was mine, in that I needed to put all the same type of clothing in my loads (shirts, pants, towels, etc.). I rather calmly told him that this defeated the purpose of washing the same colors together and, frankly, was ridiculous! He then asked me if it walked its way into the center of the room when I could get it to spin. I said it did not and he said I was lucky because a lot of people also have that problem! I honestly did not believe I was hearing a halfway intelligent person say these things to me. By that time I was already planning to get ahold of someone higher up in the company and get a full refund for this useless washer, when the Holy Spirit spoke to me. I began to think about the long battle I would have ahead of me. Honestly, I used to rather enjoy the fight, but now through Jesus' love in me, I hate it! Instead, I decided to lay hands on it and command it to be healed in Jesus' name. It was not fixed immediately, but each load I washed, I laid my hand on it and thanked Father that it was healed in Jesus' name. Within two weeks it was spinning out like a champ! 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus; just to take Him at His Word; just to rest upon His promise; just to know, "Thus saith the Lord." Thank you, Father.
