Brad Bradley - 03/05/2008 Thank you so much for your prayers. The devil jumped on me with a migraine headache spirit immediately after work on Monday. As I drove home, a visual disturbance began to flitter and flutter almost in the center of my vision. My first thought was "Lord, is that You?" Then I immediately thought, "Oh no, it's the beginning of a migraine"; then I cast that thought down and asked The Lord what He was doing in me. I wanted Him to open my eyes to see and ears to hear. I wanted to respond like the young Samuel: "Speak Lord, for your servant is listening!" The closer I got to home, the further and further the visual disturbance spread from the center of my view. I told Heather about it, she prayed for me right then and there and then I purposed to NOT change my Monday evening routine; I did not want to give power to the curse. So, I went about changing my clothes so I could gather up the garbage from our home and from my parents to take it to be picked up by the street. At this point, things were going well and I was praising God for His hand upon me. For about an hour, I only had a very dull pain in my head; though it was enough that I wasn't feeling super great and asked Heather if I could grab a shower before dinner. She consented and when I finished, dinner was almost ready, so I laid down for less than five minutes. Again, not wanting to empower the curse, I got up and went to see about her and the children. As we sat down to eat, though, the pain grew much more intense. With each bite I felt worse and worse. Afraid I might vomit, I asked Heather if I could be excused from the table to go back to the bed. As I was leaving the table, she was already typing the prayer request email (below). Well, I laid down and was praying to God for deliverance and for Him to show me what He wanted me to learn through this. I think I must've laid there for about 30-45 minutes or a little more and then drifted off to sleep. I awoke at about 10:00 PM when my wife came into our room after putting the little ones to bed and "closing down" things for the night. I followed her into our bathroom and said, "You know, I think I'm a feeling a little hungry". And then I came to the realization the pain was gone, except for a very light, dull residual! Praise The Lord! It had been almost exactly three years since the last migraine. At that time, both Heather and I had not received the True Gospel, even though we were both professing Christians. So, when the visual disturbance came that day in 2005, the first thing we did was get my prescription of Motrin pain reliever. Suffice it to say, it did not even take the edge off of the headache and I ended up in the Emergency Room at TMH an hour or two later, where the staff seemed to be less than hospitable. It even took one nurse three or four sticks with a needle to get a vein for the fluids they wanted to give via IV. I was suffering from a severe migraine headache so severe I had to be led down the halls because the florescent lights hurt my eyes so much I had to keep them closed and even shielded with my jacket! Then I had a CAT scan and got a shot of Demerol in my thigh and very quickly after that I vomited and they sent me home, where it was not until late the next morning that the pain left completely. So PRAISE THE LORD! His method of PRAYING AND BELIEVING far surpasses natural man's arm-of-the-flesh prescriptions and methods! MUCH MORE PLEASANT, TOO!!! In what occurred this past Monday (3/03/08), I kept professing Jesus Christ and Him crucified and claiming the promises of 1 Peter 2:24, Galatians 3:13 and Mark 11:24. God was faithful to allow me to experience just enough of the pain to draw me unto Him in nearly continual prayer (see 1 Thes. 5:17). In response to that prayer, He ZAPPED that evil spirit and healed me! It actually took less than three to four hours once the pain began (or less, since I didn't really feel any pain once I awoke at 10:00 PM). I've never experienced relief that quickly before! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Heather Bradley wrote the prayer ministry: Hello all, I was wondering if you could please say a prayer for Brad. He is experiencing a visual disturbance and the migraine that is trying to come on him. We have prayed and rebuked this. By faith he is walking right through it. If you could lift him up, I know it would be a blessing to him. Thank you all. Bill Rowe replied: Heather, we add our faith to Brad's and believe that which is not as though it is. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command Brad to be healed by His stripes. We command this migraine spirit to loose Brad now and Brad to be pain-free and his eyes restored. We also command this migraine spirit to leave Brad's home and to return from whence it came, never to return. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.
