Deliverance is Better Than Arguing Winnie Osegueda 8/4/20 Just obey the Lord's leading in what He would have you to do even when it goes against how you feel. There was a sister that I had a disagreement with a few weeks ago and I would say it bothered me a bit, but I tried not to think about it much. She ended up unfriending me and I let it be. This evening the Lord put it in my heart to reach out ala Matthew 5:23-24 (So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift). I went ahead and texted her to tell her that I was praying she was doing well, etc. and she immediately called. She had just asked the Lord to send her someone to talk to. She began to tell me about some hardships she was dealing with, but she also began crying out about offing herself and I could not get a word in because it wasn't her speaking. It was a demon. All of a sudden a boldness rose up in me that was not me, but the Spirit of God and I began to cast out the spirit of suicide, anger, etc., she threw up, and the demon[s] left her. She began to speak coherently again sharing amazing testimonies of things the Lord has done in her life and we prayed for the Lord to help her in the some of the difficult things she's been dealing with. This blessed me as much as it blessed her because I love seeing the power of God in my life as well as others and I love to know He lives in us and walks in us and we can take authority over these things the enemy tries to tell us we can't take authority over. This is why we can't lean on our own understanding, but obey Him and forgive all and forsake all. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18
