Naturally-speaking, with the Pope's death will be lost the rest of "the testimony (Greek: witness) of Jesus (which) is the spirit of Prophecy" (Rev.19:10). In other words, with the death of a Pope who has had a remnant of the witness of Jesus will come a new Pope who will be devoid even of that.

This natural revelation is just a parable of the spiritual one.

The Catholic (universal) Church was the product of uniting apostate "Christianity" with all the pagan religions under the head of the Roman Empire Constantine.

A greater world wide corporate body Pope is being raised up under the Revived Roman Empire, the U.N. This new leadership over the new Universal Church, which is the United Religions (U.R.), will become totally reprobate of all that is Jesus.

The continuing spiritual death of this apostate leadership of the spiritual, universal church will bring in a spiritual resurrection of the corporate False Prophet in them. Any remnants of the witness of Jesus or spirit of the prophecies of the Word will be dead in them. The "whited sepulcher" represents that which is appearing holy on the outside but dead on the inside. (Mt.23:27) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

This wicked leadership will be totally blind to the real Jesus and so will not recognize His true witnesses whom they will persecute and kill. (Rev.20:4) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony (Witness) of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
