Babylon in Christianity - UBM [David Eells]

Many ask me what I believe about many of our so called Christian holidays. I have not celebrated the pagan rituals in "Christianity" since shortly after becoming a Christian. The Catholic Church merged pagan religions with apostate Christianity and brought in all the pagan holidays. We are now called to be cleansed of these pollutions before God remembers them. (Rev.18:4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues: (5) for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

This does not mean that I judge those who celebrate these feasts but I do wish they would grow up and cast out the leaven. Judging the brethren over these things is a waste of time. In feeding on the Word we will grow up and these things will fall by the wayside. We don't want to be as the Pharisees who strained out a gnat and swallowed a camel. This means that we shouldn't major on the insignificant things and minor on the important things. Those who do these things judge everyone and are judged by God.
