My Resurrection? - UBM [David Eells]

Jesus has been my favorite friend and only hobby for over 30 years. I have been asking Him to come and talk to me about some questions I have concerning things to come. I think He decided to do it the other way around; I will go to Him.

Mark Amedee had a dream about me on (6/18/05):

My wife and I had heard that you had died so we headed to Florida to go to the wake. We arrived and walked into the building, which I noticed held about 100 people and was packed. There were even people standing in the aisles. I saw three caskets in the front of the building. The first two looked like Jewish rabbis. They had long black beards and long hair and looked to be a little on the heavy side. To the right of them was the casket in which you were laid.

As Gwen and I walked up to your casket I noticed that your wife and family members were not there, so Gwen and I began to pray. As we prayed, the power of God fell upon you and you were raised from the dead. You got up out of the casket and said that it was nice to see that there were still people with faith to believe for the dead to be raised. Then you asked where your wife was and we said we didn't know.

So as we left the building we were walking down the sidewalk in what seemed to be a park. I noticed that it was a beautiful day like I had not seen before. The sun shone bright and the sky was crystal clear; it was like a storybook day. The presence of God was all around us. I noticed a woman walking toward us with tears in her eyes. It was your wife and she was very happy to see that you had been raised from the dead. That is where the dream ended.

As I have told others, I don't have time to die right now but I wouldn't mind going to see the Lord for a few days vacation so He can straighten me out on some things. :o) Don't worry, Brad will send you an e-mail if I go on vacation. Then like Mark and Gwen you can call me back after a few days of rest because I still have a lot of work to do. :o) Neither I nor Jean Fahey knew about this dream but she prophesied to me shortly after it was received that "In a few weeks you will go with God".

I don't believe in accepting physical death because it is an enemy that Jesus abolished, which will be conquered in these days. (Listen to the audios called "Abolished Death" on the Teachings from the Late '90s page.) However, that doesn't mean we won't be tried in our faith. Abraham was promised a son that would cause him to be the father of a multitude but God tried him by commanding him to sacrifice the promise. Abraham accounted God's promise so sure that he believed Isaac would be resurrected. I believe God's promises to me to be sure too, so if I go, "I'll be back", as Arnold would say. :o).

I wondered if the two rabbis that Mark saw in caskets before he saw me aren't a sign of the time when this will happen. Maybe two rabbis will die just before this happening. Later I thought about two rabbis who did die before me. Moses and Jesus were, as we sometimes call important people, two heavyweights. They were the man-child of their time. The end time man-child has to experience spiritual death and resurrection, also. I know I am not worthy but I am praying to be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man. I hope you are too.

Last night I remembered what the Lord has said to me about Joseph. He has impressed me for many years that I was Joseph who was lied about by the harlot and would be delivered from spiritual prison before the seven years of famine, which represents the tribulation. Jesus, who is a fulfillment of Joseph, preached to the souls in prison who were the dead. So in a type, Joseph was resurrected from the dead to rule like Jesus.

{Ps.105:17} He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant: {18} His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in [chains of] iron (Heb: his soul entered into the iron), {19} Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him. {20} The king sent and loosed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free. {21} He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance; {22} To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.

After that I asked the Lord to speak to me from His Word about this death and resurrection dream. I opened my Bible and blindly stuck my finger down on the blessing that Moses gave to Joseph for the latter days just before the old rabbi died.

{Deut.33:16} And for the precious things of the earth and the fullness thereof, And the good will of him that dwelt in the bush. Let [the blessing] come upon the head of Joseph, And upon the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren (the man-child). {17} The firstling of his herd, majesty is his; And his horns are the horns of the wild-ox: With them he shall push the peoples all of them, [even] the ends of the earth: And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim (fullness of nations - Church), And they are the thousands of Manasseh (firstborn - Israel).

Some probably think it pretty presumptuous of me to think that I could be in the end time Joseph company who we have seen is the first-fruits man-child. I not only believe that Jesus perfected us at the cross but that He is able to manifest it in this life. Joseph's brothers were angry with him because he received dreams from God of being their leader (Gen.37:5). This cost him much suffering at their hands but it was all for the purpose of crucifying him "to save much people alive". {Gen.50:20} And as for you, ye meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. I have never lusted for a position of authority but I have asked of God that I may help my brethren who are suffering in this world and I know this is the way. I pray that whether we are in the first-fruits or ingathering harvest we will all bear the fruit of Jesus.
