Jesus Will Raise Up Apostles

David Eells - 03/23/2011

{Ecc.1:9} That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

In the middle of March 2011, I was impressed to climb to the top of the hill behind the house I rent. I saw there a short way off to the west a pair of large black hawks circling. I had the experience down south of calling hawks and they came to me. I have even had them land at my feet. So I decided to call these hawks and see what would happen. I gave out my high-pitched screeching cry which I simulate by whistling. Immediately, the hawks turned and circled around my head, maybe 150' up. As I kept whistling, I saw a pair from the north come and join them. I was amazed at their obedience and at first thought I was getting pretty good at this. :o)

I began to walk back down the hill, still intermittently whistling. Then I stopped as I saw more hawks coming from the south and east. I was amazed and began to suspect something supernatural was happening because they were mere specs in the sky and too far away to hear my call, especially over the dull roar of the interstate between us. They normally have excellent hearing and sight but this was miraculous. These 24 hawks were now circling without answering me back in any way. In Florida, they used to respond to me. I suddenly thought, I need a witness of this, so hoping not to disturb their circle, I ran the rest of the way down the hill and into the house. Only my daughter Deborah was home, so I asked her to quickly come and see. She had to do something which took only a few moments and we went out where she saw all the hawks in the sky over our heads, even though their circle was now broken somewhat and they began to leave. I said something like, "Lord, what are you trying to show me? What does this sign point to?" At the time I shared this with the online Bible study with the same question.

This is what came to me: Jesus came to call the disciples to make apostles of them to destroy enemies and raise up the Kingdom. These were the hawks, who overcame the world to dwell in the heavens and were equipped for warfare to tear and devour flesh. "Hawks" is a term used today for warriors. Calling up the warriors. There were 24 apostles who answered the "call" of the Man-child Jesus. They were listed in the New Testament for certain when you translate the word "apostolos" consistently and one more that is not certain. These went forth two-by-two as the corporate two witnesses of the Man-child, Jesus, exactly as hawks do. Hawks do not commune as these did.

In a modern-day parable, David "called" and 24 hawks came. We have been praying the Lord would send the elders and this is His confirmation. I have also thought that we might have to wait for these elders until the Man-child/Davids "called" them. I have been amazed at the miraculous calling of the first disciples/apostles in the Gospels. I noticed that when they were called they just dropped what they were doing, left their businesses and followed Jesus, no questions asked. The Son of God came to call those whom He would make sons in order to raise up many in His image and after a couple thousand years of falling away, history is about to repeat in a much larger way.

I have said several times before that "these hawks are different than we are used to down south; they are like eagles". The Lord showed me that Jesus comes as the lightning from east to west in the Man-child company first. This is the carcass or dead person that those eagles are gathered to, as the apostles were gathered to Jesus. {Mat. 24:26} If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not. {27} For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. {28} Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Notice that only after the Lord comes in His people, as those who are dead to self and the eagles obey the call to minister during "the tribulation of those days", does He personally come after the tribulation. {29} But immediately after the tribulation of those days ... {30} and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven...

Several brethren sent me suggestions as to what this meant, including confirming the verses above. Then on the 24th, Roberta Mylenek sent this:

Morning Brother Dave, I haven't had a chance to share with you concerning your experience with the hawks and the revelation I had about it. When you spoke of the experience of your calling the hawks and at the end you said, "I don't know what it means". When you said that, I had an immediate thought to speak, "I DO. IT'S A SIGN". And then I thought, A SIGN OF WHAT? Then "A KNOWING". I JUST KNEW.

The birds came to you AS A SIGN FROM GOD.........OF THE RESTORATION OF AUTHORITY THAT WAS GIVEN TO ADAM. The birds came "out of obedience" and "recognition of the authority" God has placed on YOU. It's a sign of the restoration of all things. Creation cries out for the sons of God to manifest. And that's what we can EXPECT. IT WAS A CLEAR KNOWING, without any doubt or hesitation.

I believe this was a revelation from the LORD and your experience with the hawks was to inspire the saints of God to expect the restoration of creation. Amen.

Other email excerpts:

Deborah Horton:

Here's what came to my mind: Mat.24:27 For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. (28) Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. I don't know if there are any eagles native to the area, but eagles and hawks are both birds of prey. They also are opportunistic feeders and will eat something that's already dead. If the old man has died, there's the carcass. And they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings as eagles could be the new man, Christ in you, the hope of glory. The footnote says "or vultures". That would work, too. I think this was done by the Lord as a promise to you. :) Please, Father, make it so. Amen.

(Job 39:26) Is it by thy wisdom that the hawk soareth, And stretcheth her wings toward the south? (27) Is it at thy command that the eagle mounteth up, And maketh her nest on high?

Mesha Thomas:

I was listening to the broadcast today and I had a thought after hearing Brother David's experience with the hawks. First the disclaimer: I don't know nothin' so please discern. Hawks are known for their exceptional sight and piercing cry. In the spiritual that would represent (probably) prophets to the nations. These would have great discernment and boldness in Christ. I believe that God is calling forth those that he has given sight to; they are responding and awaiting instructions to go forth and cry to the nations. They are coming from far and wide.

Susan Wilson:

Last week David gave a testimony about calling hawks and all these hawks would come to him. Well, later in the week I was driving home from work and thought about that and said, "I would like something like that to happen to me". Yesterday was a really bad day for me and I was looking out the back window and I saw 2 bald eagles fly across the back yard and land in a tree, so I watched them for awhile, and then another one came, and another and another. I counted seven bald eagles, 4-5 of them roosted in the trees for the night. God reminded me of the prayer/statement I made earlier in the week, and reminded me of how much He really loved me. The next morning I heard them talking as they were still in the tree, and watched them fly away one by one. Thank you, Jesus. I woke up in the middle of the night and just then realized the number of eagles I saw was 7, an added blessing at that. :)

Jenn Reams:

This is something weird I feel led to share. Please pray that the Lord gives me understanding or perhaps gives it to some of you. It will seem unrelated at first, but you will see the connection by the end of this.

Wednesday, on the way to get Trinity from school, I saw at least 2 hawks: 1 was on the side of the road (red-winged/white-breasted), standing over a carcass and the other was flying low, directly over my car at the same moment. I'm always looking for eagles so this black one caught my eye immediately: It was a black hawk with a black, round head. I'd never seen or even heard of a black hawk except for the helicopter movie. Then arriving back home, 45 minutes later, there were several red-tail hawks flying around our house. I had never seen this happen before! Usually, hawks are solitary, but there were several (maybe 5-7) darting thru the air fast and into the treetops. There were other birds, so they may have been chasing/hunting those birds. Then they were just gone. They didn't linger long. This whole event during 2:30 to 3:30 was perplexing to me.

Okay, so I listened to that conference on Saturday and I'm pondering the hawks. I'm also awaiting the supermoon, just wanting to see it. The night before, the moon came up here in North Carolina at around 8:30 PM ET. The sky was clear all day, but about 30 minutes before sunset, dark ominous clouds rolled in, almost blocking the whole sky. These didn't appear to be chemtrails; they looked like storm clouds. But there was no rain, no thunder/lightning ... just really weird-looking. However, the direction and area where the moon should be had enough holes that I might still be able to see the supermoon. I checked several times and finally stood out there for 20 minutes around 8:30 and there was no sign of this moon! It was so dark out there that I couldn't even tell it was a full moon on a regular night. I thought of how I should still see the light of the moon, even behind the clouds ... and again, it would show thru the holes in the clouds ... but nothing. So, the only explanation I could come up with was the clouds. I was praying and feeling led to rebuke those clouds and having the faith, I did so. It looked like the clouds parted right where the moon should be, but still no moonlight. This was perplexing in so many ways.

I came inside, feeling disappointed and like the dark clouds were the only explanation. Maybe the moon was in a different spot from where I thought it should be because that's happening a lot lately ... so parting the clouds in that spot didn't help ...? It was hard to understand. But when I got on Facebook, 3 friends from Louisiana were seeing it! They were commenting on how beautiful it was and I thought, "Weird". Again, the clouds were the only explanation, so I commented that as the reason I was missing this supermoon. Then, a friend from Virginia commented on how beautiful it was, so I gave it one more try. By this time it was 9:30 and, to my surprise, there it was, just coming over the mountain! No wonder it couldn't be seen -- it hadn't come up yet! It was still cloudy, but I could see the light of it behind the clouds and when it reached the opening (in the clouds) just above the mountains, it came into full view.

It is still a great mystery to me> How did the moon rise an hour later than the night before? How did people in the central time zone see it before those in the eastern time zone? And how did Virginia and Louisiana see it at the same time, but North Carolina see it an hour after? Virginia and North Carolina are ET and should see it pretty close to the same time, and Louisiana being CT should see it an hour later. Just weird. We are farther inland from the coast, but still an hour ahead of Louisiana. And keep in mind, the moon still rose an hour later than the night before.

Now, tying it all together: When the supermoon finally came into view, there was a small cloud directly above the mountain, blocking the moon. This cloud was maybe 7 or 8 times bigger than the moon itself and it was black. All around this cloud blocking the moon it was clear. The shape of this cloud was of a bird! It was a large bird with its wings spread and the round head and beak could be seen, looking to my right (which in the east sky would be south). I said, "It looks like a bird", and my daughter excitedly said, "It looks just like a bird!" The definition of the bird was incredible. There was no mistaking -- it looked just like a black hawk!!! (Note from David: The supermoon covered by the black hawk, the kind I saw, represents that the bride who followed the Man-child was 60-fold fruit in the beginning. John said, He that hath the bride is the bridegroom. Star, moon and sun glory represents 30-, 60- and 100-fold fruit of Jesus. The woman in Revelation 12 who birthed the Man-child stood upon the moon as moon glory, 60-fold fruit.)

I'm not sure what all this means. I've considered the Lord was showing me something, but not yet sure what. However, I did feel He didn't want me to wait until I understood it to share this. So maybe He will give understanding to someone else. In any case, He is God.

The moon-rise timing really seems impossible to me, so was it a miracle I witnessed? But with the timing and the clouds, it reminded me of these scriptures:

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Ezekiel 32:7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

Both the sun and moon were darkened before and after sunset, where I did not see either one, and the clouds were so thick, some of them looking red/orange; it was very strange. But remember that there were still holes to see the moon, it just wasn't there.

Wayne Wilson:

I think there is a message in what happened to you with the hawks. The Lord here in Job seems to be challenging Job's self-righteousness with Job's obvious inability to do what God can do.

But in reality, could it be that God was showing you with the hawks that His people in the end times will be doing all these and greater things -- that we will command the eagle and many more things in this creation?

Vernon Love:

On Thursday, March 24th, I went to pray that morning at my favorite location by the Catawba River here in Marion, NC, where I live. After praying in the Spirit for some time, I then asked the Lord for a confirmation concerning the calling forth of the apostles and prophets for the end-time move of God. I know David had spoken about the calling of hawks (eagles) on Sunday, March 20th, and also reiterated on Wednesday, March 23rd. So, the confirmation I asked the Lord for was to let me see one lone hawk fly near the Catawba River area where I was praying. At this time, I looked at my watch and it was 10 minutes before noon. I felt a strong impression to stay until 12 noon, and I kept glancing toward the sky, of course, expecting to see a hawk.

At 12 noon, I started walking the trail along the river toward my vehicle, and talking to the Lord. I said, "Lord, You are sovereign, and if You choose to not let one lone hawk fly this way, it's okay". I had just barely finished speaking, when I looked toward the sky, and In the far distance I could see a bird flying toward the river. At first, I couldn't distinguish what kind of bird it was, and as it got closer, I began to whistle like David did. It came closer, and I could tell it was a large dark-colored hawk as it flew near the river. The hawk then turned back toward the southeast and flew out of sight.

I immediately pondered about the woman of Revelation 12:14, where she is given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for three and one-half years from the presence of the serpent. In Exodus 19:1-5 we see the Israelites taken out of Egypt into a wilderness where they were tried and tested in their faith and trust in the Lord. Verse 4 says, "And how I bear you on eagles' wings and brought you unto myself". God brought His people by the hands of Moses, the man child of the Old Testament, to a place of covenant and communion with their God.

The importance of the symbol of the eagle having two wings is very revealing. As we know, the eagle cannot fly with one wing, naturally speaking. The two wings are the apostles and prophets, who are called to manifest the latter-rain anointing through the man-child of the New Testament, who will have eyes to see, like the great eagle, and their spiritual sight will guide the woman (church) by the leading of the Holy Spirit into the wilderness testing place where she is fed for a time, and times, and half a time (3-1/2 years.)

The storm is getting ready to pound upon this sin-sick world, and God has some eagles He has prepared to soar above the storm clouds of persecution and tribulation, to bring his church (woman) "unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a full-grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". (Eph. 4:13) Glory be to God!

Greg Mozer:

I just wanted to confirm what the Lord had given you concerning the experience with the hawks. I really felt led to seek Him concerning this. I had also been given the scriptures relating to Cyrus! When you started reading from Is. 46:11 I knew exactly where you were going! This was really exciting for me. It was as though you were reading right out of my notebook! I believe that Is. 41 - 43 speaks a lot about this as well. I was a little disappointed with myself in the fact that I felt I was supposed to send it in...I got a little busy with things around here...(excuses, excuses)...and it didn't get done. This will NOT happen again! At any rate I was very excited to hear it from you. For myself it was really great to get confirmation like that! Thank you Father!

Recently I've been meditating on "the call" and what it looks like and sounds like. They say "a picture is worth a 1000 words", and Jesus is the expressed image of the Father...the Word made flesh. He says, "My words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life". I am seeing how truly multi-faceted "the call" really is! Changing and transforming everyone from the brand new in Christ to those walking in maturity. His word truly does go forth and accomplish what He pleases!

I had to laugh a little about the fact that you have a "hawk call", only for the fact that I do the same thing with deer and elk up here when I'm out in the woods. Well God bless you David and I will keep you and the brethren in my prayers.
