Father Gave Us Heat for Winter

Gloria Benson - 10/26/2009

We had a fireplace in our house but could not use it because it needed a chimney liner and a top on the chimney to prevent sparks. We needed it fixed and in working order to have heat in our home this winter.

On 10/08/09 I asked for prayer from the prayer team and Bill sent a prayer, which is below. Well, praise be to The Lord. He provided us with a nice old Ben Franklin cast iron stove ... free. Glory to Almighty God. A friend of ours is going to slide a stainless steal isolated chimney pipe down our chimney and then hook up the stove. Glory to God! There was no way in the natural this would have been done. Glory to God Almighty; He is so good.

It was just a couple days after you all prayed that we were told we could have it. On the 18th we went and got it and brought it home. I have been cleaning it up and fixing it for the fire; it is so pretty. All I can say is thank you, Father, in Yeshua's name; and thank you, sir, for praying.

On Thursday, 10/08/09, Bill Rowe wrote:

Gloria,

We will add our faith to yours and in accordance with the scripture, our Father's Word, the Gospel, the real good news and believe you have received.

Father, we thank You for having mercy on Gloria and relieving her of all anxiety. We thank You Father for blessing Gloria with the knowledge of the truth, that You will supply our every need. Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread. Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:8 Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matthew 6: 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also. 25 Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? 26 Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? 28 And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Father, we thank You for all Your abundance which You have blessed Your people. We thank You for Your promise of provision which allows us to enter into the rest as we bask in Your love as so eloquently demonstrated by the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus Christ. We thank You, Father, for giving us the faith to walk as Your Son Jesus Christ. We thank You for giving us the same faith as Your Son as He trusted You for His resurrection as we put to death our old man and resurrect into the nature, character and authority of Jesus Christ. Father, we thank You for giving Gloria the faith to walk in Your will as she is led of the Spirit. We thank You, Father, for providing Gloria direction, provision and protection as anxiety leaves and she imbibes in the knowledge of Your truth and she is blessed with the wisdom to bring that knowledge to fruition. We add our faith to Gloria's and enter into the rest as Your power and authority is manifested abundantly in and through Gloria and we thank You, Father, for providing Gloria with spiritual and physical warmth throughout the cold winter months in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

Be blessed,
Bill
