Delivered from New World Order Addiction

Keith Boyd - 05/12/2009

I felt compelled by the Lord to share a similar testimony as Brad Moyers', concerning the addiction to alternative news. You are right, the Lord is dealing with a number of us on this issue and it is a very serious one. For many years I've had that same nasty addiction. The Lord has been dealing with me about it for several months and I will share with you a series of dreams He gave to me along the way. I got home last night from work and was prepared to write this testimony but He had me do something first. More on that later.

Some months back I felt the need to clean from my computer all the mp3s and videos, etc., from the alternative sites, and I did so with the thinking that I was going to take a break from it. Right after that I received this dream:

I was with a man whom I had never met. He asked me if I wanted to go to Alex Jones' house and meet him. So I went with him and he and Alex Jones entered into a conversation. I just stood back and observed the conversation. Alex Jones seemed very disinterested in what the man had to say and after a time they finished and we began to leave. As we were leaving, Alex suddenly became very interested in me and asked me to stay and hang out with him. So I followed him back into his house. He pulled out some pot and said something to the effect that we could hang out and enjoy it. (Please note I'm not saying Alex Jones smokes pot. Obviously this has to do with partaking of the demonic spirits he imparts in his message, to which he entices people to listen.)

This dream was a warning from the Lord.

After some time passed, I wanted to just check in and see what the latest news was -- just a few minutes and I had no intention of listening to the whole show. Slowly it began to gain a foothold again. Then I received this dream:

I was approaching my house; coming home from somewhere. (Note the house in the dream was not my actual house but in the dream it was my house.) I entered through the garage door which was open. There were people everywhere, sitting on my furniture, eating my food, watching my TV, etc. They had just decided to walk right in and make themselves at home, as if they lived there. I tried to show them out. They would go out but come right back in. More and more of them came in and I wasn't able to get them to leave.

The Lord was telling me I left the door open and I had not completely gotten rid of the enemy that was dwelling in my house and devouring my food.

As time went by, I fell right back into the habit of listening to every show. Not just Alex Jones; there are several of these sites, including ones that claim to be Christian ministries, that entice people with gnostic spirits. Some offer prophetic newsletters with knowledge that only they have been given privilege to, etc. Just before the Bible study in which you first brought this subject up I received this very short simple dream:

I was in the company of brothers and sisters and we were standing around outside fellowshipping. For some reason, I was smoking cigarettes. That's totally unusual for me because I never smoked. I was smoking one after the other and deeply inhaling with each puff. I thought to myself, "This is a nasty habit. I really need to quit doing this", and I was ashamed to be doing it in the company of the brethren.

The Lord was showing me that I was severely addicted. I was inhaling as deeply as I could and lighting up one after another to try to satisfy my habit. About a week later was the Bible study with the message about this and I knew that I had to give it up permanently. There's no taking a break from it.

I have listened to Alex Jones for many years. I also thought I knew better to ignore his philosophy. The problem is it's not his philosophy but a doctrine of many powerful demons. There was a show a few months back when he was giving a very emotional spiritual speech and I clearly heard the demons in him say "we are legion".

(Mar.5:9) And he asked him, What is thy name? And he saith unto him, My name is Legion; for we are many.

No man could bind these demons:

(3) who had his dwelling in the tombs: and no man could any more bind him, no, not with a chain; (4) because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been rent asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: and no man had strength to tame him.

Only Jesus Christ was able to free him from these demons. This addiction can control you to the point that you have no power over it. Jesus broke that addiction in me the night of that Bible study.

This is a very serious issue, indeed!

So last night I gathered up four large garbage sacks of books, DVDs and tapes, etc., of all the New World Order and false ministry materials that I have been allowing to dwell in my house and eat my food. I dragged them down for the garbage pickup, which just happened to be picking up this morning. As I was leaving for work, I looked down and saw that the stuff was gone. That's what the Lord had me do before I could write this testimony. Kick out the demons and close the door! Praise the Lord!
